Disqualification codes

From time to time, our swimmers will get disqualified. Disqualification can be very disappointing and frustrating, especially if the swimmer has been looking forward to the event. 

Disqualifications will always be dealt with by the coaching team. However, we know that sometimes these issues can spill out from poolside and impact on home life. If this happens, please remind your swimmer that disqualifications are a learning opportunity with lots of future occasions to try again. Please try and steer your swimmer to focus on their positive swimming achievements and let the coach know if your swimmer seems to be too focused or are struggling with any aspect of their swimming.
